EI Sensor Technologies is a leading manufacture of temperature sensors, and supports there application within the HVAC industry. EI Sensor manufactures top quality PTC and NTC Thermistors, RTDs (Resistance Temperature Detectors), Thermistor Probe Assemblies and RTD Probe Assemblies. These products play an integral part in the heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, and refrigeration industry to measure the air and water temperature, pressure, and humidity. Temperature sensing is a critical parameter for the HVAC industry to accurately and efficiently measure, monitor and/or controlling the temperature of a medium within a given set of requirements. EI Sensor has many standard sensor designs to fit a multitude of temperature sensing applications. If a standard design does not fit your needs, there are endless customized thermistor and RTD options we can offer.
EI Sensor has carefully engineered their product technology to constantly meet the growing need for accurate temperature sensing amongst HVAC and other industries. While not always visible, temperature sensors effect the temperature and comfort of our everyday lives. The ducts, pipes, and vents supplying a workplace or home require temperature sensors to perform properly. Measuring and controlling the temperature of HVAC applications such as heat furnaces, air conditioning systems, or ventilation equipment allows for adjustments and improvements to ensure functionality. You will find EI Sensor products in a variety of HVAC systems, including:
- Central Air System
- Heating Systems
- Duct Sensors

On a Daily Basis
On a daily basis, HVAC systems require temperature sensing to ensure that a preset temperature is maintained in a given area. Furthermore, temperature sensors have the ability to identify critical issues that may be undetectable otherwise. EI Sensor products are engineered to identify leakages by detecting unusual changes in temperature. While your thermostat identifies the temperature in a given area, EI Sensor temperature sensors work to identify the temperature expelling from certain HVAC systems such as air heating systems.
Using a furnace as an example, if a temperature sensor detects a decrease in heat flow from the furnace, it is likely that gas is leaking into the room without igniting it. If this occurs undetected, carbon monoxide is emitted into the air. The advantage of having temperature sensors detect gas leaks is the early detection they offer. While carbon monoxide detectors may take longer, temperature sensors can almost instantly identify a gas leak by utilizing temperature as an indicator. This is not to say one should not use carbon monoxide detectors, but to have multiple sources of detection.
Using the highest quality materials, state of the art equipment and proprietary production techniques, EI Sensor is dedicated to producing a temperature sensor that meets or exceeds customers’ requirements. With a strong commitment to quality, continuous improvement is necessary. The EI Sensor team continues to invest in research and development of new processes as well as enhancing existing processes that will result in a precise, efficient, cost-effective thermistor, RTD or temperature probe assembly.
