CONEC's line of Circular Plastic Connectors (CPC) are expanding to include overmoulded options. CPC connectors have a variety of uses, such as agricultural and automotive engineering, control cabinets, robotics, injection moulding machines and machine tools. They help improve design and functionality by providing a reliable connector system. The new connectors feature a robust connector design, threaded connection with positive detent, and is smaller in size.
Also available are termination caps, and single and double outlet versions. With a double outlet, systems can be build more compact to save installation space. These are used for the distribution signals and power as Y-distributors with different connectors and variable cable lengths. Various combinations can be achieved to fit your requirements.
The termination cap design can ensure unused connectors will be protected from dust and dirt. Additionally, when mated, the IP67 protection class is met. The caps are supplied standard with a secure loop that can be undetachable fastened to the cable. It also features a hole at the end of the cap for additional fastening options. As standard, the termination caps are designed without contacts and additional wiring. It is also possible to integrate resistors and short-circuit bridges into the caps.
The overmoulded CPC connector series comply with protection class IP67 in mated condition with single and double outlets, as well as termination cap.
